Sponsorship & Community

As a practice rooted in a rural community, we recognise the vital role that connection and support play in helping people and organisations thrive. Community spirit is at the heart of everything we do, and we are proud to contribute in ways that extend both locally and globally.

Through a range of charitable partnerships and local initiatives, we aim to make a meaningful difference by supporting causes that reflect our values and the communities we are part of.

Every new client means supporting a child’s future

We are very proud and humbled to work with Somerset based charity School in a Bag.

Their mission is to provide educational resources to children in disadvantaged areas around the globe.

As a way of continually supporting the charity, every time we welcome a new client, we also sponsor a School in a Bag and send it on its way to help a young person. The clever technology used by the charity means that our new client can track the bag and actually see where and who it has reached.

Because every pony deserves a safe home

Munchkins Miniature Shetland Rescue is a charity based in Devon who provide a safe haven for miniature Shetland ponies in need.

They are dedicated to rescuing ponies from abuse, neglect, and abandonment.

We are a team of animal lovers, so sponsoring a pony each, in addition to regular donations, helps to give these ponies a second chance of health, happiness, and a brighter future through the care and attention the wonderful volunteers provide.

Supporting local sports and arts

The Practice is honoured to be able to support local team sports within Somerset from the Middlezoy Rovers club to Forton Rangers Football Club, and our home team of Ilminster Football Club.

In addition, we proudly Minster Milers’ Ilminster 10K, an annual running race that ventures through our town, and raises vital funds for Ferne Animal Sanctuary.

We also embrace the arts in our community through the sponsorship of Fortitude Performance Team, a new and passionate initiative committed to helping children through dance, and Ilminster Literary Festival.

Jenny feels strongly about the camaraderie and mental health benefits generated by being part of a team and embracing doing the things we love and is thrilled to be able to get involved with these local organisations.

Strengthening our professional community

We are proud to actively engage with our professional community through networking events, alongside attending development meetings and gatherings organised by St. James's Place.

Jenny and Sophie are regular attendees at local networking events, valuing the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with other professionals and businesses within the area.

These connections provide Manders with a platform to grow and thrive, not only by raising awareness of our brand, but by learning from others, sharing ideas, and gaining valuable insights. This collaborative approach plays an important role in our commitment to continuous improvement and delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients.
